Distance Advocacy

My name is Katheryn Margaret Pascoe and I have taken on the role of Advocate for distance students. I am here to assist with academic challenges including grade disputes and impaired performances, through to welfare concerns including harassment or financial hardship. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any concerns or questions at distance.advocacy@musa.org.nz or 06 356 9099 extn 86180.

I am a distance student myself and have a passion for fire dancing and circus arts. As a small insight into my life, below is a picture of me upside down with my acrobatic partner Carolyn Edgecumbe.

Radio Control

Radio Control is a student created alternative radio station based on the Turitea campus, broadcasting in Palmerston North and streaming worldwide. With a diverse range of music, and an eclectic group of volunteer hosts, it's the strange, crazy, scary, new and exciting experience that matches your university study. You can listen at radiocontrol.org.nz, or by tuning in to 99.4FM if you are in the Palmerston North area.

If you feel like winning an awesome CD pack to sample some of the awesome tunes on Radio Control, send us an email on music@radiocontrol.org.nz with whatever music is tickling your fancy right now, and you're in the draw!

If you like the sound of Control and wanna get involved or just wanna find out more, you can get hold of the station manager Dave on manager@radiocontrol.org.nz
