Our Community

MUSA would be nothing if not for you!

MUSA is able to enhance your university experience because of our dedicated team of volunteers. From being class reps or international buddies to helping with events, these students add amazing value to what MUSA can achieve, while making some great friends along the way.

Students can also connect with MUSA through the MUSA Premium Membership, which offers special deals, discounts and exclusive card holder giveaways throughout the year.

Building on our student network, MUSA collaborates with and provides service to both local and national groups like Manawatū Tenants’ Union, Thursdays In Black and Manawatū Abuse Intervention Network among others. MUSA is proud of the great company we keep and we’d love to have you on board.

Our Team

We’re an independent student association made up of a governing executive and an operations team working together from the second floor of the Student Centre Building on the Massey Manawatū campus.

We’re social workers, musicians, artists, designers, developers - all working to support students. Between us, we provide student advocacy, student engagement, clubs, Radio Control, MUSA flats and the MUSA Shop on concourse.
