The MUSA advocates are here to support students to overcome academic or welfare challenges big or small which may arise during their tertiary journey.
This service is free, confidential, and independent from Massey University. It is a safe space where you can understand your rights and options through support and advice, including referrals to appropriate services.
Qualified social workers Kerry and Kathryn-Margaret have the experience and resources to support you through any issues that might occur from dodgy landlords, academic grievances, to a financial hardship grant for those moments when an unforeseen and temporary situation pops up. Find out more here (on here they will access info about sap).
The advocates can attend meetings or hearings with you either in person or through telephone conference if required, whether this be for Massey matters or with external agencies.

Or free phone 0800 Massey and ask to be transferred to the MUSA Internal or Distance Advocate. Even better rock on up to the second floor of the student centre rooms 2.22b & 2.22A to see us in person.
